a. We can only give you a receipt showing the hood has been repaired. So, in the unlikely event that your car gets caught in another Amarillo hail storm, your insurance company will not pay you the full amount twice.
b. When you remove the dents in your hood, the dents left behind will look more pronounced. We see this all the time. You get your hood fixed and it looks so good that you have remorse for not getting more panels fixed like your front fenders, front of roof, or doors.
This is especially good when you have an extended van, suv, or truck roof that is difficult to see. Another option is to fix the dents on the front of the roof and all the sides and leave the bulk of the extended roof dented. This usually works well too for saving money.
Leave some of your car’s moldings damaged. Usually there are subtle dents in the moldings that cost a bunch to replace and are barely dented. When you leave them dented, it can save you a lot of money.
